She is answering the call to inspire these magnificent women to recognize their true value in the world.
Michele Maddox is a Life Coach, author, speaker, and champion for women who have had enough of the judgments and marginalization that cause those beyond a certain age to feel invisible and irrelevant. She reminds women from New York to Johannesburg and from Los Angeles to the Bahamas that they have demonstrated incredible resilience, fierce perseverance, and a depth of hard-earned wisdom through the decades.

With compassion and accountability at the foundation of a carefully curated process of self-discovery, she inspires women to trust that their dreams are within reach as long as each of them moves forward grounded in courage and a bold vision. Michele empowers women across cultural, ethnic, religious, and geographic boundaries to take a stand for what is most important in their lives.
Twenty-two years ago Michele won a five-year battle with Cancer. What she learned from that experience changed everything she had been taught to believe in and pursue as the appropriate path for her life, as a daughter and wife and as an accepted member of the community.
Aren’t most of us programmed with a similar mindset? What if many of the limitations that control our lives are self-imposed? What if a shift in what we believe and the way we develop our identities is all it takes for us to choose to live with joy, success, authenticity and freedom? What if that is all we need?
And what if, by re-writing the narratives of our lives, we become intentional and in control as creators of our own legacies? Wouldn’t that be the greatest gift of all?
Michele prepared for this moment in her life through a number of significant academic, career, and community service experiences. She holds a B.A. in French Language and Literature and an M.A. in Dispute Resolution. Her passion for fine art led her to study Art of the Renaissance Court and the Italian language in Florence, Italy. She was the first African American woman to be recruited by the #1 investment banking firm in the world, Salomon Brothers. Just recently she was awarded the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award for many years of community service primarily with a focus on women who need help with overwhelming life challenges.
What fills her heart and soul, however, are her three adult children, Lauren, Paul, and Allison, and her two grandchildren, Blair and Gregory. The opportunity to model the audacity to pursue limitless dreams and goals for them is her reason for everything!
